Hey everyone Im new to this board [removed] and live a very busy lifestyle. I recently got back into the gym but having a hard time figuring out where to go to eat healthy through out the day.

Lately Ive been eating Subway through-out the day as my 2nd and 3rd meals. I then hit the gym after the office(about 9pm) and complete my day with a high protein no carb dinner. My question is just how much better is eaty subway sandwhiches (light mayo, cheese, wheat bread, turkey or chicken) then going to say fast food restaurants.

I really dont have the time too cook meals before work or the night before as I have a child and a needee GF. I'm lucky enough just to find an hour an evening to hit the gym these days.

So if Subway isnt a good route, what other places do you guys suggest which offers a nice menu? What about South Beach Diet Take To work Lunches/Dinners? My goals are to tone up so I've cut my carb intake substantially.

Well, I work at Subway. They do have some great subs that are 6 grams of fat or less. There is a catch though: you have to skip the cheese. They do not mention that on the ads. The cheese, I believe, adds about 3 grams of fat. There is also the option of making any sub into a salad or a wrap. Light mayo is a good alternative to the regular mayo if that is what you want. Or, better yet, try the oil or fat free sauces. They really do have some great, healthy options there and plenty of variety. It sure does beat having greasy cheeseburgers all the time! Hope that helps. Enjoy!

A 6 inch turkey, chicken ham or roast beef sandwich with no cheese, no mayo but with as much of anything else is only 5 points on WW...a great deal. Toss in a bag of baked lay's for another point. That's about 300 calories and less than 6 grams of fat. I lived on them when I was on WW....
