I have a 2 year old DD. She is always getting sinus infection which then flare up her asthma. I am to the point where i just don't know what to do. We see an allergist and i think that he is confused too. He has done an allergy test and nothing. She was on bactrim for a month and still got them after being off it for a few weeks. So we just saw him yesterday. He sent her for a throat xray to check her adnoids to make sure they are not to big. Got those results back and that is fine. He also did blood work to check her immune system. Haven't gotten those results back yet. It seems like she is always sick. She can't be remotely close to anyone who shows any signs of being sick or she gets it. I don't understand. The doctors keep telling me its daycare. She is picking up something there. She goes to daycare where the other children are never sick. She is the only one. He said it didn't matter. If she was playing with a child that coughed by her or had even the littliest bit of running nose it could make her sick. That was the way her body dealt with it. They don't have to be sick to make her sick. This has being going on since she was born. I am worried about her being sick like this all the time. I don't know what to do. I don't ever really get any answers when go to the doctor. Just another infection and antibodtic. The response that it's because she is in daycare. Anyone have any ideas?

hi, well to start off with i hope your daughter is feeling better, i havent got any advice but i know how you are feeling
i have a daughter who is 21 months old and since she was born she has had so many chest infections, as well as pneumonia, shes been on antibiotics around 15 times already which cant be doing her any good, but unlike your daughter she is not in daycare, so i dont understand how she gets ill so often
i have a 5 year old daughter too and she is hardley ever ill
i never get any help from the doctors they wont check her out to see if there is an underlying problem that makes her ill all the time they just say some children pick up things easier than others, but i can tell you something i dont think it is right for her to be ill at least 3weeks out of every 4 weeks, which is how she is
have u had all the test results back for your daughter yet?
i really hope they can help her and find out what is wrong because i know, its not nice to see your little one ill all the time
