Hi all,

I fuffered ACid REflux for many years now. I took PPI medicine for several years. I lost much weight and I look so skinny (scraed). So, I decide that I am going to approach the natual way to heal the problem. I am taking probiotics supplemts and also is going to take enzyme supplements. Do you know that how long you should on probiotics supplements? Can you take probiotics and enzyme supplements together?

I appreciate your help.

How they are taken really varies from mfr to mfr. They may coat them in something that is supposed to dissolve in either higher or lower pH which can be altered by eating or not eating... So follow the directions on the package. However, in my experience, the packages have mostly said to take the enzymes at the start of the meal and the probiotics about an hour after a meal.

Oh, and I'm not sure if you're asking how long you should be on them to see results or if there's a maximum time you can take them. I think it's possible to see results early on if your system is very sensitive...other times it could take a couple weeks. I don't think there's a time limit on taking the probiotics though.
