Well, it's been years and years now. My daughter (BP) is turning 17...we have fought this mental illness battle now for over 10 years. 7 hospitalizations and a ton of medicine changes....seems we have gotton nowheres.
I know others have seen the light...mine is dimming. Stable periods between hospitals are getting less in frequency. Rapid cycling getting almost on top of each other now. No one knows what's next. Neither do I. Neither does she.
Poor kids has lost her childhood to bipolar, now her adulthood seems in jeopardy. What kind of life is this??????
Thanks for letting me rant...if I did this in therapy it would cost me a ton:)

Kim, I am so sorry your going through this with your daughter. I dont think anything is more painful then when things affect our children. My heart goes out to you and your family. I wish I had more positive words for you.
