Occasionally i get these noises in my throat, sounds like a fizzing and lasts a cpl of seconds. Does anyone get this, is it harmful? I presume its the acid.

Yes it is GERD related...
It is either gas or a spasm of the diaphram...it does go away! ( with diet change)
