 ... lynn.... I don't have the hot flashes .... I have cold flashes... I'm 49 and have been in peri for 10 yrs now :blob_fire ..... it seems I can't get warm unless I get into tub of hot water and I have to wear footies all the time or my feet feel as if they are freezing off and I live in the south... lol... I have had my thyroid checked and it seems to be fine ... I think its just one of those weird peri symptoms we get.... best of luck to ya.... Dee

Hello. I'm 56 and started menopause at 53. I have never had a hot flash or night sweat. In fact, I too am cold most of the time. I asked my doctor about it because both my sisters had horrible hot flashes. He said not to worry and count my blessings. Some women just do not get them. I've always had a low body temperature and low blood pressure. I'm very healthy as far as I know.

I will be 48 here in about 2 months.Yes.Thyroid bloodwork came back fine.Although I do have a nodule but I don't think that has anything to do with it.I was told I was going into menopause because my FSH was 38 whatever that means.ugh I don't know what symptom will be next.
