I've been watching my food intake for quite a while and have lost a good amount of weight. Sometimes people suggest I reward myself with a sugary snack like a donut or candy bar. It seems to me that if I eat one sugary snack I start to crave more. Is that how this normally works?

That happens to me too!! The only way I don't, is if it's something way too sweet that turns me off from sweet foods. I've evern heard that can happen from drinking diet sodas, but luckily the sodas don't affect me. So I'll treat myself to a diet soda or even sugar free hard candy. That way if I want more of the candy, the calories are so low that it's fine to do, as long as I stick to those. I also enjoy some strawberries with a tiny bit of sugar sprinkled over them. Yum!
