I've decided that I'm going to start my diet on Wednesday. I'm going to go on the low-calorie diet. I'm going to restrict my caloric-intake to 1,200 calories a day + working out for 35 minutes-an hour every night on an elliptical machine or a treadmill. Can anybody give me some ideas about strength training? Like, what should I do for that? :)

I do 100 push ups and sit ups everyday.

Do you belong to a gym with weight machines? I do weight lifting for strength training 3-4 days a week (every other day basically). I pick about 3-4 machines per section: arms, abs, and legs. Do 3 sets of 10-15 reps. each. As far as how much weight to lift--you shouldn't be straining through your first 2 sets; it's OK to strain just a little or be a bit tired at the end of the 3rd set.
