Just curious is anyone has opinions if one of these machines is better than the other for you? I tend to mix them up a bit, but just wondering if there is much difference if result.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sponsor Naxis 02-06-2007, 11:24 AM There really isnt a whole lot of difference, but I think you have to work less on the recumbant because you dont even have to sit up straight or use any core support muscles. twiceblessed 02-06-2007, 01:40 PM Good point, which is probably why my back hurts a lot less on the recumbent! Thanks. tattman 02-07-2007, 01:15 AM I had no idea what a recumbent was so I looked it up on google. Neat looking things. But we are about to buy ourselves an exercise bike. It works on magnets, so we are looking forwards to getting it. We had the type with the movable arms but that kept on brecking down and always needed adjustment. But I think if we saw the recumbent we would of bought that first. The Tattman twiceblessed 02-07-2007, 07:21 AM It works on magnets? How so? Interesting... wilder060485 02-10-2007, 07:27 PM I prefer upright bikes, for the reason already mentioned. its better for posture and a closer simulation to actual biking. |
