A "TIA" is called "transient ischemic attack"
A TIA is a "warning stroke" or "mini-stroke" that produces stroke-like symptoms but no lasting damage.
A person may not know what it is or may not know the warning. That is the problem.

Ok, Thanks. My thing is the last 2 or 3 days my left side seems to be alot heavier then normal & my left side of my face seems to be numb. But not all the time.

If something feels wierd, see the doctor. It's better to be safe then sorry. Before I stroked (I was in the ER because I had a car accident), I knew something was wrong with me beside my broken hand. 4 hours later, I turned paralyzed (right side).
