Hi, I am a 44 yr female who is Diabetic( Insulin Dependent) and I have had Chronic Renal failure for about 10 years. I am not on dialysis. I been sick the last four months with bladder type issues going on. I did a 24 hour urine and my protein was 11,000.My urine looks so frothy, it scares me. I see a nephrologist twice a year. Tomorrow I am scheduled for a cysto to find out what is happening with the bladder. My concern is the protein in my urine. I am in the process of redoing the 24 hour urine because i missed a few collections the first time. My creatinine was slightly elevated. I guess what I am looking for here is others with the same type issues going on. I have stayed on a strict renal diet for a week and a half now, and I dont plan on ever going off it again. I think I have probably done enough damage by not being compliant, its my own fault cause i tend to push everything under the rug and not deal with it, but now I have to. My fasting blood sugars are running around 132 and my blood pressure has been ok. Does anyone know of a support group or organization that can help me out. I appreciate any input...Thanks
