View Full Version : Eustachian Tube Problem?

Hello.

For the past year my right ear has been clicking loudly whenever I swallowed.

Today, after I took a shower, I cleaned my ears with ear swabs. About 3 minutes later, I started having a pain in the ear. I can't even touch the earlobe without pain and crackling sounds. And, if I chew something on the right side with my jaw, I feel a pain in the ear. It's really disturbing because I'm trying to avoid pain. (I'm pretty sure I didn't go too deep inside the ear. Nor do I think it's the water because I've tried different ways which worked before.)

Is there any way I can fix this? It has happened before but not this bad that the ear started to hurt.

I already take Claritin-D, Nasal Fluticasone, etc... those don't help. (I take them for asthma and allergies).

Thanks.

have you been checked for TMJ...this could be a contributing factor.
