hi been having really vivid dreams lately, that is nothing new but the thing that is bothering me is that they are largely concerning my mother. She passed away nine yrs ago on the 13th of this month and although I always fine this time of year hard and very depressing I have never had these dreams before in my dreams I know she has passed so I try to make the most of the time together then always if I turn when I turn back she has gone no goodbyes nothing each time there is so much i want to sa to her but I never get the chance All I want to do is keep going to sleep and see her again. This is worse than any other year even the first I have to constantly stop myself crying and am getting so wound up that even the meds are not working as well with my temper. I am sorry for venting about this but I just cant get it off my mind right now Debs

Hi debs,

Is something else going on in your life that is an additional stressor? I imagine you are conditioned to think about your mom at this time of year...as you tie the date to your loss of her. Were you very close? I know it is a vicious cycle when you get something on your mind and cannot stop thinking about it. The more you try to distract yourself, the more you keep thinking about it. I don't have any good ideas for you, but just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you.

Try to be extra good to yourself. Be sure you're eating well, going to bed on a regular schedule and try to get out and walk or get some sort of exercise. Maybe if you're physically tired, your mind will quiet down a bit.

Take good care,
Tsohl
