I want to lose 5-10 lbs and have been eating right and working out religiously for several months. So when I do lose the weight as long as I stay at the same calorie count will I still have to workout as much to retain that weight? Currently I'm doing 1 hour cardio and 20 min resistance 5x a week. sorry if this sounds silly but will I be able to lower my exercise time or days once the weight is off?

Theoretically you shouldn't, no. Your body will eventually adjust to it's new weight and you can maintain with less exercise/calorie expenditure.

oops I meant "maintain" the weight not "retain". ;0) Where's that edit button when you need one!!???
