View Full Version : Pain Clinic Stories

Yes, it's me the newbie again.
I went to the pain clinic this morning, and am never surprised at the things I see there.
People walking through the parking lot fine and dandy (with a cigarrette hanging out of their mouths), and as soon as they hit the door, *limp*
*groan* *moan*
Amazing.

Oh, and gotta love the ones that actually discuss their RX in the waiting room, how many they can get, how much they can sell them for and what they make annually.

There was actually a man doing this- I reported him the second I was seen. I hope that you-know-what gets his.

The sad thing was that he was sitting next to a woman who was in a half-body cast after a crane fell on her at work on a construction site.

Anyone got any interesting Pain Clinic stories? I'm in for some good stories.

Hello Swedeheart, welcome to the fibro family.
I've never been to a pain clinic and I was surprised at the information
you gave. How do folks get past the doctors? The person who was
selling the drugs was in worse shape the the lady in the body cast.
It's people who misuse the system who hurts the ones who are in real
pain. I'm still dumbfounded with all of this and at my age, that's saying
a lot. I hope your visit went well and that your pain is better.
