Are you ready missy? The prep begins tomorrow and I have my green jello in place with my grape water....umm umm good! (lol) Just wanted to touch base with you and say I would be thinking about you as I get this show underway tomorrow through out the day. I expect full details on what your doctor tells you Friday after the test!

Hugs,

Hey Angelia,

How did it go? Mine was fine and no abnormalities found! I must say the whole thing went so well, even the prep and the procedure was fine...I knew nothing til I came round.:blob_fire

Hope yours was good too!

Love, Alison

Thanks lalee! What are you doing up so late? It is 1.35am for you, isn't it? And you are online!

Hope you are doing well and hope to hear from Angelia soon!

Sorry no reply as of yesterday. I was so knocked out that I pretty much was an alien. And I went out to eat and an embarassing experience with vomitting in Cracker Barrel (lol). My mother said I was talking weird (lol). Well the prep was awful as usual, but I lived. It wasn't terrible news yesterday, but not what I hoped. Within less than a year from my surgery, there were 4 new polyps. So apparently I have a genetic condition alright and I will have a colonoscopy every year from now on. They were sent for biopsy and will be back in a couple of weeks although the doctor doubted of course they were cancer just that they were fast growing. I am just lucky they do not replace themselves in the thousands. And I hope this doesn't mean I have to have a complete colon removal at some point to avoid colon cancer. I am glad to hear you did beautifully Ms. Allison that really makes my day. And now I am completely happy !!

Love,
Angelia

I am so glad to hear from you and do hope you are feeling better today. I found that even though I was totally out for the procedure, I came round quickly and was totally alert for the rest of the day. I ate 3/4 of a large pizza which upset my stomach a bit...maybe that is why they advise you have a light meal following procedure!! It makes sense.

I am sorry they found more polyps but it shows how important it is for you to have regular colonoscopies. I can imagine that you are worried about having the have the colon removed at some point but try not to dwell on that too much now. Live for the day rather than visiting a place in the future that might never happen.

I found the prep not too bad at all. They gave me magnesium citrate and it was easy to drink. I felt quite purged afterwards! Pity I spoiled that clean feeling with pizza, chocolate biscuits and ice cream!!

Take care,
