How often can I bathe my infant? I like to give him a bath each night as a part of a bed time routine, but some days my nanny also bathes him during the day. We both use lotion on him and his skin is not dry at all. Is he getting too many baths?

If it doesn't seem to be effecting his skin in a negative way you can bathe him as much as you want. If his skin does start to dry out I would ask the nanny not to bathe him so you can do it before bed.

Just as with "grown up" skin, bathing can be drying to the skin. Maybe on the days when the nanny gives him a bath you could do a massage instead with a little gel baby oil. It still gives you skin contact and time together.
