So I am in the 2WW again, been doing the BD since Saturday (including this morning at 5.30am before work - how's that for committed??!). I am now away for the night and DH is away tomorrow night so we will have a last-ditch attempt again at the weekend I guess :)
AF due 26th, holiday on the 3rd March so it would be lovely to go away already pg, but if not then I will be able to chill out in the Bay of Bengal with a few beers and sex for fun as well as BD for 2 whole weeks....this makes me smile even thinking about it so could actually be the least stressed 2WW of the past year ;)
Anyone else on the same time-frame?

Im not in my 2ww, but I wanted to comment on your post. First off, 5:30am! That is commited. I would be like "Im sleeping, go gentle." Lol. And going away for a holiday and having fun sex. Will it really ever be fun again?

I'm on the same schedule. This is the first month we've tried. I feel like the timing was good the second time. I feel like maybe it worked, but it could all be in my head. I'm 36 and my husband is 35, so I hope I'm not too old! Problem is we've been painting the living room and kitchen on the weekends, and we'll probably do it again this weekend, so I hope that isn't bad. Last weekend I wore a face mask and tried to ventilate it but since it's cold out, it's not that easy to get good ventilation.

Hi amber - good to have you here :) everything crossed for you this month xx
mugwump, I am sure you will be fine with the painting. My friend had two m/c a couple of years ago, and then moved house and decorated for weeks, painting, climbing ladders, lifting boxes etc and then found out she was 10 weeks pg! And that baby is a healthy gorgeous 1 year old now, who was meant to be no matter that her mummy had no idea she was growing in there!
Want2BMom - wow, 1st IUI, I hope this is successful, how fantastic! How did you find the whole process? Why are you having IUI (if you don't want to answer thats fine, I am just going for my first specialist appointment on 28th March so very interested at the moment in all the options)
How is everyone feeling this miserable Monday morning (in the UK anyway :))

Bummer- I just notice that the post I tried to do this weekend from my sidekick (blackberry type thing) didn't work. I was just basicly saying don't worry about the whole painting thing.
Anyway Isn't it amazing how in the two week wait Mondays are ok because that means your starting another week and getting closer to testing time? I'm finding myself pretty optomistic for some reason up untill 2 or 3 days ago I was pretty sure it wasn't going to happen for Mark and I but now I'm not so sure.

Hi I am new:)
I am 34, hubby 40, TTC since we got married May 2006. My AF is due the 24-26, so we all are in the same boat. I do not worry about the 2WW anymore. The more I worry the more I am convinced nothing will happen. (Too many past let downs)
We have been using the fertility monitor (highly, highly recommended) for the 3rd month and this was the 1st month we TTC on the correct days...Apparently my DH considers performing on cue a lot of pressure. Any other gals with similiar DH's?

Amber - I feel for you so much! I know those 2WW's that seem to go forever, and of course it is better to wait to test when you are AF due or a little late, but don't beat yourself up if you give in and test early....we are only human!
No1ctlvr - it is good to know you BD on the right days hey? Gives you much more hope...so you are in my over-30 club, have you set a deadline for how long you will try before seeing your dr? I know that sounds negative and I wish I didn't, I suppose I am just aware of the clock. I have a referral to a specialist on 28th March and I think that knowing this is why I am not stressed this 2WW, either way, something will happen soon!

Hey Everybody
I am back and officially a married old lady!!! lol
We just got back from the cruise today & for those who didn't know, we got married on the ship on Monday. It was really beautiful...
Today is CD 21 for me and as far as I can tell I O'd around that time last month. And needless to say, there was a lot of bding during the honeymoon:D So, hopefully it will happen. It was nice to be relaxed and just enjoy being with my DH (which I can officially call him now!). I didn't worry about temping this week, of course. I will start again tomorrow and see if my temps are elevated. Hopefully that will let me know that I O'd this week. We will continue to bd into next week, just to be sure.
I hope everyone is doing well, I think that within the next few days I will be in the 2ww. Hope it is our month :blob_fire

The funny thing is that my temp was the same this morning as it was before I left. So I'm not sure if I O'd or not. Guess I will just have to wait and see, the stress of the tip may have delayed things a bit. I really do hope I conceive this month though. Like Amber said, that would be an awesome wedding gift!!!

My temps haven't seemed that high til today. After I thought I ovulated, they went up to like 98.2 or 97.9, then they dropped to 97.5 and 97.7 which seems low. I thought maybe it was the implantation dip, except then I read that is a myth. Then this morning I took my temp about 45 minutes later than usual and it was 98.4. So I'm wondering why my temps were low after it seemed like ovulated. Oh well, I guess time will tell.

Well, for me, I think 10DPO today so gearing up to test later in the week (if I don't get AF of course). I have been sick in bed for the last few days and refusing to take medication, just in case, so taking longer than usual to shake off.....it is a pain. Through these last few months I have had severe burnt hand and flu and now a stinking cold and all without meds 'just-in-case' which never turned out to be....ah well, would all be worth it if it is BFP this month.
When are the tests for the rest? xx

Hi all - so we are on the home straight for this month hey? How is everyone doing? I thought we might have heard from some of you by now....anyone tested?
Rach28 and Want2BMom were both AF due yesterday? Any news? And Amber and Mugwump and No1ctlvr - i think you are all around the same time as me (due 23rd?) so anyone caved yet??
Ok....I did this morning. It was BFN but I am ok and definitely not OUT like I would usually think because I bought some tests at an online auction site this month and they say they are to be used from the day AF is due (I am only 12DPO at the latest because I am not 100% sure when I ovulated). So I guess I will wait now until Friday unless AF shows up by then....
Hope to hear some BFP's!

Hi EuroKelly-
I am waiting until Sunday the 25th to test, that would be day 29. I just can't bring myself to do it before. Although I have been very nauseous off and on the past 2 weeks different times of the day. But sometimes before my AF I do feel nauseous. So I am going to wait.
Please everyone keep us posted on where you are with your testing. Best wishes and baby dust to all!

Oooh I want to cave so bad, I dreamed last night that I took a pg test and it came back positive right away. I've never actually dreamed that I was pregnant or anything about a positive test before, so that has me all wound up. I told myself I had to wait until I was late though b/c getting AF is sooo much easier than a neg test. Plus I believe AF, with a neg I always think "there is still a chance" I'm thinking about testing Friday morning if I don't have any major symptoms b/c we will be traveling this weekend. I'm fine with testing at my friends but i'm torn if it is positive I want to tell DH privately (I think) oohh I don't know....These are the friends that have known everything from the begining so that would be fun too. HELP!!!

My AF isn't due til the 26th, but since it's not like clockwork, it could be any day give or take a few. I didn't really want to test on a weekday before work, so I originally thought I'd test March 3rd, but maybe I could test on the 25th. I don't know, depends on how patient I am I guess.

I think I am out of the race this month. Today is cd26, 11dpo and I spotted very lightly this morning which means the AF is looming and impending probably in a few days. It stinks to have a lot of nausea for no reason, yik!
After 9 months I am a little frustrated. But oh well!!

I saw terpamper is going off of the boards for a while and that this was her final month for TTC. I am new to the boards, I hope nothing is wrong with her medically??

well I took a test this morning and it was BFN....no AF yet but I am sure it is only a matter of time. It is as disappointing as ever but I am trying to stay positive due to all the other good things going on. Only 1 week until my holiday and then the appointment with the specialist when I get back. I have also sent off for information from a couple of the well-rated fertility clinics so that I can start to read up on IVF if that is the recommended route (I expect it to be as IUI isn't possible with only 1 fallopian tube from the reading I have done so far). I have also decided that if that is the way forward for me I am going to be an egg-donor. My eggs should be in pretty good shape, it is just the lack of a tube which is making this so difficult, and after being on this board for the last few months I have realised how many people could benefit from this help, and I really want to help someone who is as desperate as me for a family. So...if my BFP doesn't happen after my holiday I will have a whole new journey to take with you girls.
Hope some more of you are having some luck this month!

Hey Kelly, I'm gutted you got a BFN - was really crossing everything that you wouldn't. Hope you are having a relaxing weekend and shopping like mad for your holiday.
I think donating your eggs is such a generous and positive thing to do but I secretly wish you won't need to go down the IVF route - maybe your well deserved R&R will be all you need.
Have THE BEST holiday ever (I know you will) and let DH pamper you rotten!

My temp dropped to 97.4 so I figured it didn't work, and then wouldn't you know AF showed up. Sigh. I thought I had the timing right, but oh well. I don't know whether to try the next two months, because I don't know if I want a baby born in December since it's a busy month as it is. If I try the month after next, I have a dental appointment and my sister said you shouldn't go to the dentist in your 1st trimester. Plus she said pregnancy makes your gums bad, and my gums are already receding. Ugh. Oh well, I guess I have nothing to worry about yet. Except I don't have time to spare if I want 2 kids by age 40 since I'm almost 36 1/2.

Rachel I am sorry about youd BFN however gearing up for the new cycle is the way to go about it.
Mugwump I don t know how long you ve been TTC but if i were you i wouldn t really worry about a baby being born in dec or jan. A baby will be the most special and important thing in your life whenever. And after holding a little one in your arms the month will be the least important thing in your mind.
Also if it will take some months to conceive (i hope not) you might feel sorry that you missed 2 months.
I started TTC in july after being married for 1 year and got preg on my first attempt. I m/c in Aug at 7 weeks and have been TTC since then. Now i feel angry at myself that we haven t tried to conceive before. I feel we wasted time.
Wishing you the best of luck in whatever you decide.

Hi All, well AF showed up last night so thats that again for another month...
Sorry to all of you who got it as well, not a very successful thread this month hey? good luck and baby dust to all for next cycle.
mugwump, I agree with Amy, don't worry about when your due date will be - if you want this then anytime is a good time to have a baby. I would love my Christmas to be disrupted this year by giving birth :) everyone would just have to look after me instead of me hosting Christmas again and looking after everyone else and their children :)
Princi - thanks honey, I have indeed shopped like crazy for my holiday and am going to pack today! So excited and hoping like you said that the R&R works for us before we go for IVF, just like I feel pg in Sri Lanka this time last year.....fingers crossed! I hope you are feeling ok and I think I will be back before your scan but if not I hope everything looks perfect and can't wait to hear all about it!! I cried because I was missing you the other night and my DH promised me that he will be sending me up to Glasgow for a bump day just as soon as I join the club!!!
Lots of love all,

Sorry to all of you who got it as well, not a very successful thread this month hey? good luck and baby dust to all for next cycle.
mugwump, I agree with Amy, don't worry about when your due date will be - if you want this then anytime is a good time to have a baby. If I were handed a baby on a silver platter born in December, it's not like I'd send it back. :) So I think I will try for a December baby. This was my first month of trying, and I just thought it would work. Should have been trying earlier I guess. Just found out my cousin, who is around my age, is 2 months pregnant.

With ref to due dates if I get pregnant this months attempt would result in a dd of 27th Nov next month will be 25th Dec!! And as we are on holiday next month then I think our chances of getting pg are better and we are going to Florida which is where we got pg with ds!! Who knows!!

Morning Kel,
Sorry about AF but at least it's out the way of your bikini clad, cocktail drinking, sunbathing, relaxing, Bding holiday!! Resist the urge to pack any OPKs as I think you'll be covering all possibilities whilst you are there!!!!
Will be thinking of you while you are away and sending lots of (sri lankan type!) baby dust across the perfect blue sea and golden beaches!
Tell your DH to start saving his pennies as you'll soon be requiring that ticket to Glasgow!
My scan isn't until the 27th March so (despite being sick as a dog) I have no idea 'whats in there'!!! BF got bad SA results last month (1% morph and 10% mobility) so I'm a bit anxious.
Anyhow, have a great sunny day today and enjoy packing tonight LOL!
