Just a few days ago I drank just a few sips of orange juice and all of a sudden felt a really strong urge to throw up and did then just this morning I thought I'd try just a few sips of orange juice again to see how it would react and I threw up again. I don't know why this is happening do to the fact that I used to be able to drink orange juice without throwing up. Does anyone know why my body could be reacting this way?

Is it only orange juice, or os it other acidic foods as well? Have you noticed?

I suppose you could suddenly have an intolerance, or (if both samples came from the same container) there could be something wrong with the juice itself... or there is something in your GI tract itself that is causing this.

It could be something as simple as a little stomach virus.

I haven't noticed this reaction to other acidic foods like I've been able to eat oranges and drink lemonade. The orange juice I drank was from the same container, I should check the date on the carton and see if its good, we just bought it though so it should be. I dont' think its the stomach flu because I haven't had any other symptoms of the stomach flu such as diarreah or stomach upset.

Well, I wasn't thinking so much of expiration date as contamination, but it could be either... has anyone else gotten ill from it?

Are you drinking it on an empty stomach? If so, that can cause upsets. Try eating something (toast, bagel, cereal) first.
