i just was reading some stuff on the net that said you can develop a dependency on enzymes and that they can damage your digesive system if used too much. arrrrgggg!!! anyone know anything about this? since one size fits all, they are often not in the exact right quantities to match a specific meal and i guess they can cause your pancrease to get lazy. ??? something new to worry about or not?

Most digestive enzymes contain ingredients like ginger, papaya, peppermint and other things like that so I don't know why that would be bad for you.

i think they are talking about the enzymes that mimic those put out by our pancrease. Not the herbal digestive support things. I've tapered down my use of them just in case. I don't want my pancrease to get lazy and then shut down.
