I am a little over 1 week pp and I feel great, except I feel tired and fat. I was thinking that I wanted to have sex but I am wondering if I am pushing it. Sorry if you really didn't need to know this. I am not really bleeding very much and I had a c-section so I am fine down there. I plan on taking it easy so I don't bust my internal stitches. When did you start or did you wait the 6 weeks?

I did not have a C Section so I can only tell you what I did from the vaginal birth side. With DS#1 we waited about 5 weeks. It didn't seem to be a problem. With DS#2 it was only about 3 1/2 weeks and boy could I tell. We went really slow and easy but I could feel tugging and pulling. Not the most comfortable... one week pp seems pretty early but I don't know?

WOW you go girl!! There was no way I was haven sex that soon!! My midwife didn't give me a specific time she just said you will know when you are ready!! 1 week seems so soon to me but if you think you are ready.....be careful!!! Sava

I'd ask your OB first, just to be on the safe side.

I guess the reason I am ready is that I hate having sex when I am pg. So DH and I have been in a desert for about 5 months now. Sex when I am pg is very uncomfortable and not something I can do.

your brave i never had a c-section but we waited 4 weeks and it hurt the first few times very sore :dizzy: if you think your ready go for it good luck :)

I had a c-section and had sex a little after 1 week PP I believe. It was a tad painful, DH was very sweet about it though. I was at the point I had to have sex, we hadn't in such a long time because, like you, I didn't like pregnant sex AT ALL.....

Wow, DH wasn't allowed to get near me until after my PP checkup and even then I was scared. I'd say take it easy if you've had stitches. A friend of mine had to have reconstructive surgery last year internally because she pulled two of her episiotomy stitches at 1 week PP and never healed correctly. She said it was very, very painful.

i had a section and we had sex 11 days pp as i stopped bleeding briefly. it was fine as i had never gone into labour at al so down there i am like i never had children iyswim!
