Just wanted to update ya'll. I met with my RE today. She was really pleased with DH's results from his surgery. So she wants me to try Letrozole (like Clomid) along with Metformin (which i've been on since August) and timed BD for 2 months. If this doesn't work then we will try Letrozole and IUI. She'll start me on Provera if I don't get AF by the 23rd and I get a BFN on HPT. I'm excited to start a new cycle for once!!

That sounds great, Amy. I just wanted to wish you luck!! I pray that you will be able to get your BFP with just BD'ing and you won't have to do an IUI. If you do have to do an IUI, though, it is a piece of cake. I had no pain at all. I just did my first one today. Just have a full bladder and you'll do fine!!:)

Good luck!!

Hi Amy:wave: I'm very glad that your DH's surgery went well. And it sounds like you walked away with a solid plan from your RE visit... having a plan is great cause it just gives you a bit more control over a situation that is not always in our hands if you know what I mean. And I hope it doesn't have to go as far as IUI for you, but if it does, I second what Anna Leigh said about going in with a full bladder. My first I went in with an empty bladder and I think I experienced a bit more cramping because of it. Best wishes to you!!!

Thank you all for your good luck wishes!! Thanks Kari and Anna Leigh for the advice on the full bladder with IUI. Hopefully I won't have to take that step but if I do I'll remember that. I'll keep ya'll updated.

Thank you!!!
Amy
