View Full Version : Chest Pain on Left from Acid Reflux?

I have had all heart tests (except heart cath), to include wearing a monitor. Cardiologist said okay. I finally decided to go to gastro doctor. I had an endoscope which said I have the H Pylori infection in the stomach -- was put on antiobiotics. He said I have mild gastritis also.

My question is does anyone continue to have chest pains on the left -- when I eat they get worse, but seem to be all the time. Gastro doctor thinks could be "nutcracker" esophagus. I am scheduled for HIDA scan also on 16 Feb for gallbladder. My question I guess is more for an esophagus question, but I didn't know how to start a new posting (sorry). Does anyone have the nucracker eophagagus and what you are dealing with?

Does anyone continue to have chest pains even when on prescriptions like Prevacid?

Thanks.
