I need to lose 30pounds by MAY if its possible, is it? i don't eat after 7:30pm so atleast i got that down plus i only drink water. Any advice would be welcomed. i also have a 47minute cardio tape which is Walk Away the pounds 3miles. Should i do the treadmill one day and then that the next and switch off? Please help!!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif thanks!

i would buy the zone by barry sears ...great book about nutrition and if you see any of my other posts you will see I love this book for all over health. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
my personal treadmill workout before i lift weights is as follows.
2 min warmup walking at 4.0 mph
8 min jog at 5.5 mph to 6.0 (depends how i feel that day)
2 min walk at 4.0
5 min incline up to 5.0 at 3.8 to 4.0 mph (depending on energy level) http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
3 min walk (lowered the incline back to 0.0) at 4.0 mph
5 min jog at 5.5 to 6.0
3 min at 4.0 walk and then last 2 min at 3.8
it is a good interval train. I am 5'8 and pretty long legged and used to jogging so the actual speed might differ for you. You should be comfortable and able to complete each level at a speed that works for you. If you normally walk at say 3.4 then start there and move up later as it is a good sweatin workout.
along with some ab crunchin and light weight workout if you have time....and zoning.
guaranteed. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
and no 3 to 4x a week should be fine. If you want to be a workout addict you can cardio 3x and lift light but lots of reps 2 or 3x a week, but i spend 1 to 1 1/2 hours 4 x a week and take my dogs on a long hike on sundays and feel great. I do the cardio first and then weights
if you want some weights workout feel free to email me blondiebiker@yahoo.com
and yes switching off is a great idea (sorry I just saw your video part when reading) http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif and don't forget the body needs to rest a day as well. maybe 2 depending on how you feel and how your body is reacting to all this exercise.
