I don't know much about Soloflex, but I have a friend that I used to lift with that absolutely loves his Bowflex. He says that it provides more resistance throughout the whole movement, so momentum is less of a hinderance, and he says it works the muscles "deeper" since he was so sore after using it for a week (probably since it forces you to tighten the muscles for longer that you would for freeweights or machines). He also likes that it's easy to change from one exercise to another. I almost got one, but I actually like having to go to a gym. =]

Bowflex is absolutly the best all in one. I have a bowflex and I love it. It is quite pricey though, they have a decent payment plan, the bowflex is definately worth the money. I used to have Soloflex and hated it, It was a waste of money, very cheaply made, I kept thinking I was going to break it. Hope I helped you out a some.

Exercise equipment is notorious for being purchased and then left unused. In my personal opinion, money is usually best spent getting a gym membership if you'll actually use it. Then, if you don't use it, at least you don't have a behemoth taking up space in your garage http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
