Hi there. I am little freaked. The other day I was driving and I felt very, very weak like I was gonna pass out. I pulled over and put the car in park and then I blacked out. I came to and called 911. This was @ about 10:30am.

My 3 YO son was in the car.

The ambulance came and took me to the ER. My HR was at 160 at one point and "erratic" but then calmed down. Did blood tests and EKG. EKG was fine. Everything was normal except blood sugar was 146. ( I had not eaten anything for at least 6 hrs (breakfast @ 6am. ER took blood test @ about 12-12:30pm.) My potassium and sodium were a little low and I was little anemic. The DR didn't know what to think. Released me. Told me to go to the DR Monday AM-which I am going to do.

I have been taking my blood sugar this weekend for kicks and giggles. (You can buy a test kit for $4.00 at walmart that comes with 10 test strips.)

I am so confused!!! My blood sugar drops drastically after I eat. I am at 65 right now and feel yucky. I just had some turkey about an hour ago. I am full but I feel weak and I am shaking.

In between eating my blood sugar goes up and stays in the 130-140 range???!!!????

At first I thought something was wrong with the meter. But after checking with my dad's-his meter says the same thing.

Why is my blood sugar going down AFTER I eat and going up when I do not eat???

I am really frustrated and worried. I had my kid in the car the day when I passed out. WHat if I didn't pull over??? I am afraid my license is going to be taken away or worse-that I'll kill myself or someone else if I pass out on while driving.

Anyone have ideas??? The DR I HAVE to go to is an idiot!
I am really afraid.
