I would appreciate some feedback on fish oil & flax seed. After stopping vitamins recently, I want to start them again, but I'm not sure which of the 2 are better at lowering cholesterol. Also, how long should I wait to use a home chol. kit after starting the vitamins again to get true results? I am also going to be taking E, C, Q10, Multi. I worry about my cholesterol because i've been off zetia for 2 weeks now. I want to stay off it and hopefully not go back to statins. Other changes since dec. are diet, exercise & stopped smoking. I was feeling pretty good with the vitamins but started having nose & gum bleeding. I kept the aspirin and stopped the vitamins but now I'm not so sure it wasn't just a coincidince. Also, my high chol. is not weight related,
it's hereditary.
Thanks!

Miranda,
Fish oil is the far superior form of Omega-3 oils. Wait at least 6 weeks before testing.
