I'm getting tired of my problem.
My face always is flushed. ALWAYS!!! From the time I wake up its red. I have been having this problem for 3-4 years now and it has been controlling my life. I constantally live in shame, waiting for the next person to say something.
My doctor put me on something similar to inderal(sp?) 3 weeks ago and I have noticed no change yet. I'm tired of this controlling my life.
Its just on my cheeks. Since I have started the inderal(sp?) stuff, I have noticed a small decrease in the feeling of burning on my face but its still there.
So my question
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
Also, I can get pictures if that will help out
Thanks
Jake

Rosacea. See a dermatologist.
I already did and she said I would have to deal with it.
I look more into it and My face doesn't look like any of the Rosacea I've seen

Evening primrose oil is a supplement that is used for rosacea. It can be found in health stores as well as most places that sell vitamins. It should not be used if you're on seizure medication or if you experience seizures.

I had redness/burning from toiletry allergies. When I got out of the shower the burning/redness was at its worse. The skin looks a little mottled from the allergy.

I have Rosacea and for years my face would blush red big time, stay red or come and go. It was years before I got the mealy rash that is part of Rosacea.
The net has a wealth of info regarding rosacea cause, learn all you can in order to control the problem.
There are topical meds that may work for you. One is MetroGel and I forgot the other one. Having sensitive skin, they were too strong for me. Ask your dermatologist about the topicals for Rosacea or find a more knowlegable dermatologist. My daughter uses Sulfacet on her face every day, she has very oily skin.
Photoderm was recommended to me but I was too chicken to have it done. Too many times it can leave white streaks on the face that are permanent. My daughter is in process of having some type of laser treatment to zap the cheeks and nose area where little tiny veins are inflammed and showing big time. If you resort to photoderm or similar, be sure and choose a doctor who owns his equipment and does not rent it. Those who rent the equipment stack up several patients and then run them thru for the big bucks and are not as experienced as a doctor who owns his own equipment and does it on a regular basis. My dermatologist told me the above when he recommended the treatment for me.
