OK so I know they always say First morning urine is best but recently I've read that using second morning urine is better. You just don't drink anything after waking up and wait a couple hours after FMU. What do you all think? I'm 13dpo today and I'm holding out until wednesday (16dpo) I'm praying for a BFP so I can give it to DH for Valentines day...I have alot of good symptoms but I know better than to read into symptoms too much.....anyway, what do you think???? FMU or SMU????

All the things I've read say that the fmu is more concentrated with the hcg hormone. I know with opk's the lh isn't created at night it builds up during the day which is why they say not to use fmu for that.
If you're going to do it early you should use fmu. But If you've already missed af then you should be able to use any time u and still get a correct response (depending on the sensitivity of your test of course). But they say that the hcg is anywhere from 5mIU to 40mIU at 14dpo and doubles every 2-3 days. (this differs from woman to woman of course).

FMU is best but it depends on the sensitivity of the test also and how many days past ovulation and every woman is different. If you are 13dpo you should get a faint line with fmu. I got a very dark line 13 dpo testing at lunch time so it all depends how much hcg is in your system. Good luck!!!!!!

I would go for fmu. in july i was prego - ended in m/c- but only found out i was prego at 6 weeks. i had done about 15 tests all BFN .My Dr said it was because i hadn t tested with fmu. Infact as soon as i tested with fmu i got my BFP.
