I hear alot about it. What is LPR? I continue to have problems with my throat and swallowing. I want to believe it is all from GERD. Does LPR go hand in hand with GERD? don't seems to have any problems from the collar bone down, all problems right now are above collar bone. My first appt. with the GI is this thursday so i have alot of questions for him. Also, i'm coming to the end of my 3rd month on Prevacid. I'm only supposed to take it for 3 months. I didn't take it today to see what happens and ate normally and so far no heartburn. I hope i don't have to keep taking this Prevacid. I AM NOT THE SAME PERSON when on this stuff! i'm suffering from EXTREME depression, horrible bowel problems, and just wonder if the medication is the culprit for these horrible spells of pressure in my throat. anyone else have these side effects
