im only 19, but i drink ALOT of liquor, and i smoke quite alot. my boyfriend found a small pebble-like bump near my nipple. i have to press some-what hard to feel it, but it doesnt feel like the other little bumps i assume are natural in breast tissue. the thing is, my sister told me that i have no reason to worry cus im so young. i have alot of family who have had or have cancer, but not breast cancer, does that make a difference?

im freaked out, cus i have no health insurance and i dont wanna waste the money if its nothing. but then again i dont want to ignore it and something really bad happens.

Why don't you go to Planned Parenthood and get it checked out? Odds are it's nothing serious, but instead of worrying get an exam. They will know how to help if health insurance is an issue.

If the doctor is concerned do not let them order a mammogram on you. You would need an ultrasound. At 19 the breast should not be exposed to radiation if at all possible.
