For several months, I have been having a acute pain in my upper leg. I wouldnt call it a groin pain really, thats just describing the area...but at random times at night and during the day I will litterly have to grab my leg and place pressure on the area. The spot is alittle bit above the inside of my leg and has gotten slightly sore in the past week. The pains act up about 4 or 5 times a day on average but there will be days where I get none at all. There is no swelling, rash, bruising, or any exterior signs of it......I need help

Thanks

Tendonitis is most likely the cause. I have this in several places including the groin area and it hurts when the pain strikes. Yes, pressure on the area does seem to quite it down. Taking an anti-inflammatory med may help. I take Limbrel and it has helped me (Limbrel is in the class of a medical food by prescription only). Doctors have only diagnosed me as having "inflammation" and not said it was arthritis. Some medications can cause tendonitis. In my case I believe Actonel was the cause (I have tendonitis in feet, knees, groin, hips, lower back, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, all fingers/thumbs..just had surgery on one thumb).
