So, I think most people get anxiety issues when they are stressed over something or nervous over something or scared about things. Is this true? I can honestly say that I do not feel this way at all in my life, yet I suffer from anxiety symptoms. I am happy but I do get overly excited about things, which I think causes the anxiety. Can this be the case? Anxiety from being happy and excited? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anxiety in this way before.

Oh yea. I have had major anxiety at times which should be the happiest. It was recently my birthday which should be a happy time and the days leading up to it were filled with anxiety. I have no idea why other than it was my birthday. I once went on vacation with my family who I barely see (maybe once a year). I was so anxious I ended up in the ER from stomach pain. It should have been a great vacation on the beach. Excitement and anxiety are very similar, so excitement can definitely trigger and anxiety attack.

Same here! It happens a lot when I get happy or excited with something. For example, my parents just bought me a car. I got really excited, and about 10 minutes later, I had a really bad panic attack! I was going to go to the ER, but I eventually calmed down. I just can't stand it, we get anxiety attacks even when were happy. It's like it never goes away.
