I have noticed the past few times I have to put pressure on the injection site longer to stop the bleeding then I use to. The last two blood test were the same thing. There is not alot of blood but it takes long for it to stop bleeding. I am takining Enbrel and MTX. Last blood test came back fine including my platelets. Has this happened to any one else and what was causing it?

Hi Annette,

I notice that I bleed a little more than usual from these injections, When I was using Humeria that never happened. What I did notice is the needle is acutally larger than then the other one I was on so I think that may be the problem. I had a left over of the HUmeria and I looked at both and you can tell the difference. As long as your blood counts are good and you have told your Doctor about it then I'll bet that it is ok. Have a great night, we are freezing here in IL right now!!!!

Are you using the regular Enbrel injection or the SureClick injector? I just switched to SureClick and it is much, much, much easier...however I do bleed a little more with it.
