well DS is going to be 7 months in a week..hes been teething since 4 months and the other day, i noticed it starting to breakthrough..you can just feel the very top edge of the tooth and u can see the gums beginning to break. but this past week has been AWFUL! and it still is..hes absolutely miserable and im scared its something worse than teething..im not sure what this part should actually be like because this is my 1st child and im not sure what to expect..i have asked my sister..she has 4 and she said none of hers have been this bad..i have tried tylenol, infant ibuprofen, motrin, teething tablets, day time and night time orajel, teething rings, freezing washcloths and spoons, putting and ice cube in a bag and letting him suck on it..NOTHING helps..he cries ALLL day and night..literally..it doesnt matter if im holding him or setting him down, hes crying! he doesnt eat much now..hes hardly sleeping at all and he usually LOVES bath..now he screams his lungs out if you set him in the tub..its like hes terrified of it or something is realllly hurting him when you put him in there! the bad thing is, his doctor has a bunch of family and work issues right now and his office isnt opening back up until the end of march..his doctor covering for him doesnt see kids so if i decided he needs seen, ill have to take him to the ER or switch doctors fast..im just wondering if this is normal when theyre teeth are beginning to come in or if it seems more serious and anyone thinks i should take him to the hospital?! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!!:)

sam was really sad when his teeth were coming through too. i would go get your lo checked out though just to be safe if pain relief is not helping.
on the bath front when sam was 8 months he suddenly started to scream in the bath i had to change how we did baths to help him feel safe and happy again in the bath, he is fine now. i read recently around this age babys can suddenly get frightened by things they use dto not be bothered buy like baths or the sound of the vaccum etc.

Hi,
I am kind of new but I was wondering if your son is okay and if you took him to the doctor?
