OK, so I have been on paxil for over a month and the majority of the side effects are gone. I am taking it for bad anxiety and it has really helped. But this week I have been experiencing twitching in my legs and other parts of the body. It is really annoying and I am hoping it will disappear like the other side effects. Iam not sure whether this is from the paxil or a symptom is anxiety. Does anyone else experience this and if so I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks for reading.

Is it just the muscles twitching? If so I get that as well. I'm on a generic for Paxil for a couple years now. I also have the annoying habit of just randomly shaking my feet without knowing I'm doing it

yes, I beleive it is the muscles. But its like all over my body. Mostly in the legs but sometimes arms, stomach area and even head neck area. Hopefully it will go away. I am also on the generic paxil.

Sounds similar to some of the twitching I feel occasionally.

I actually took Paxil to turn off nerves after damage to my spine. I had the same reaction and now even after 2 years off Paxil - I still do. I would discuss with your MD if this does not let up. My require a dosage adjustment.
