Wow Kari, thank you for this post of encouragement. I just logged in and saw this at the top of the board. I will definitely keep you all posted. I'm not overly optimistic, I started feeling AF cramps today and don't "feel" pg. To be honest, I don't even know if I have a HPT here at home (oops) I think so, but I may have to go buy one. :rolleyes:

You guys all overwhelm me! This outpouring of encouragement is making me feel really guilty for having not tested this morning! I know, I know! On V-day as well. But I really, really feel AF at the door, even a very little bit of spotting, so I decided to just wait. At least until tonight. I wanted to have a happy V-day and if I don't test, at least I still have a bit of hope. I know I'm crazy, crazy.

DH is so supportive & great. I made breakfast for him this morning & I said, "I know I should test, but I feel like I'm about to start (right on time), so I kind of don't want to." and he said not to worry & test when I'm ready - just be happy & get through the day - test at night, that way if it is + we can celebrate and if its - then we can just sleep. He's great. I will definitely keep you all posted.

p.s. I'm on the West coast so when I'm posting in the morning, it's already your afternoon.

That's okay, Justdance. I completely understand being afraid to test. DH was just asking me last night when I was going to test and I told him that I wasn't going to, just going to go in when I am supposed to for the beta. I don't blame you for feeling like AF was her way and that you were too nervous. I pray that she doesn't show up today and if you test tonight you get a BFP!!

What did you do this cycle, just ttc on your own or did you do an IUI?? Sorry, it is so hard to keep up with everyone.

I agree that its hard to keep up with everyone. This is my first month of IUI, 3rd month w/50mg Clomid. First month w/Clomid had 3 follies, this time only 1 on the right (which isn't great because I had an ectopic pg on the right). Next month we'll probably go to 100mg if I don't get BFP.

My dr. doesn't do Betas - not sure why, they say to take HPT one day after missed period & if it's positive to come in, maybe if I was ever late they'd have me come in for a blood test, but I've never made it to that stage - I swear you could set your calendar by my regular cycle.

Hi JustDance - I completely understand why you wouldn't want to test. For some weird reason having AF show is a little less devastating to me then seeing the BFN. I guess it's because once she does show, it basically means you have new hope with a new cycle. When you get the BFN, you just have to sit and wait for that new hope / new cycle to arrive. That's the time when my heart hurts the worst. (yet I have no patience and HPT before AF arrives every time!) Well try to enjoy the day. If what you are feeling happens to be AF then we will be here for you. And I really hope it is not AF!

BTW - I have lots in common with you as I'm finding... I'm also out west too (isn't it's amazing how much we can miss by early afternoon or evening!), I also had an EP last year that was on my right side, and I also just did my first IUI last cycle (beta was negative and I'm having potential AF cramps today... not fully convinced yet though).
