How long do you have to use your peri bottle for? I had my baby about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

I assume you are talking about that bottle they give you wo squirt warm water.....I never tore and I used it for maybe up to two weeks at the most. I guess it depends on how you feel. :)

Yes, like orange said, it's all how you feel. The point of the peri bottle to make going to the bathroom more comfortable. YOu'll know when you no longer need it

Ament, yes it depends on how you feel. I had a level 3 episiotomy. It was horrible! I ended up using my peri bottle for 2 months because I wanted to make sure everything was extra clean down there. I probably did it longer than I needed to, but it took me a long time to heal from the cut which was pretty deep.

I had a minimal tear and used the bottle for weeks. I loved it! I was scared to really wipe myself and pull my stitches out. I say use it for as long as you want. Warm baths also felt great. Good luck and congrats!

Yeah, I used mine for weeks as well b/c it just felt so good and made me feel cleaner. Use it as long as you wish. I am just so anal about being clean "down there" and I wasn't ready to use a wash cloth right away. It was probably a good 4 weeks before I felt like I didn't need the bottle anymore.
