My cycles run from 28 days to 34 and because of this I have been taking OPT's since CD7 and still no surge. Is there an chance I missed "O"? Any advice would be appreciated.

Well if you ovulate late in your cycle then I don't think it would have showed up yet. The OPK box gives a general cycle of 28 days but if yours in not always 28 days then testing may be off. To confirm if you ovulated you can have b/w done on day 21. Remember thate opk's are not 100% accurate my RE does not reccomend their use b/c of this.

Thanks for the advice what kind of blood work can they do to test this....I have heard of it but never had it done. And just to make sure we don't miss "O" we have been BDing every other day.....as I have heard this is best. I am ready to get in on that 2WW list and am getting impatient.

Brandi- I'm not sure the came of what they test I just know it is on CD 21 usually but since your cycle is not the same each month then it may be a few days later bu not earlier. I would call RE and advise of your situation and see if they will do the b/w to determine if you did ovulate. I think doing every other day until you surge is fine. BABY DUST sending your way!

I am ready to see another BFP....so is my DH....God Bless him he's so great with this and tried to keep my spirits up month after month when I get those BFN's but I just feel as if I am failing him and worry what if I don't ever give him the child he wants. He swares it won't change how much he loves me but It's still a thought that goes through my head.

I know what you mean I had those same thought for a long time I would even tell DH maybe we you supposed to be w/ some-one else. I just use to get so down about it. Now we know that it's both of us so in a sense it makes me feel as if I am not the only one. Not that it's a good thing b/c it actually makes it worse for us TTC but I don't know it just helps him unerstand more what I am going through. If anything this IF seems to bring us closer together so if anything I am really glad about that. If we can get through this I think we will make it through anything!!

I'm glad to hear I am not the only one that feels this way. I at time get so down on myself that I wonder if I have mental issues. LOL but don't we all have some in some sort of instance. But so far we have been trying naturally to concieve except for last year I took clomid for a couple cycles. But we have agreed that if after this month if we don't get our BFP I believe we are going to go back to RE and see what might be the problem....so Baby Dust to all and fingers are crossed here for all of you too..

Before i started meds, my cycles ran similar to yours and I tried OPK's. I saw my LH surge anywhere from day 14-21 so you probably haven't missed it. It's just probably one of your longer cycles this month. I also had the prog. test Kathy talks about and since day 21 doesn't work for me either they had me come 7 days after ovulation was detected on the OPKs for the b/w. Hope that helps.

Thanks I think I will wait until day 28 if I see no surge that way I make sure and wait long enough. I just want my BFP so badly this month.
