Found out my cholesterol is high (ldl 172, hdl 39, total 228).
Anyway, once every few weeks a health group comes in and gives free cholesterol screenings, with the small machine/they finger poker (drip blood in small tube), then it prints out results. My original test 2 months ago was through a doctor, blood drawn, etc. I have to test again in 6 months, but wanted to see if I was improving.... however, the machines have errored on me 3 times in a row? Once, twice in a day, then 2 weeks later, same thing. They said something about me being "too high" or my blood clots easy so it can't get a reading. I have never heard of this or experienced these tests, everyone elses seemed to read fine, but not mine?
Anyone have this experience or am I the only person in the world that this machine doesn't work on :(
