Hello ladies, I was wondering if you could help me with some queries I have. Nearly each month I have a 21 day progesterone blood test done to check for Ovulation, the dr is sure I am O as my results are like 32.4 37.6 49.7 and today 27.2. As I don't know alot about progesterone I wanted to know does the result being higher or lower mean I have a better chance of conceiving or does it not matter as long as the level is in the range (being 12 - 90) Because todays level was alot lower than last month, does prog fluctuate from month to month, and as long as it's in the range it would mean i am ovulating?
Thank you ladies in advance.

I wouldn't worry about it that much as long as it is in the range. It's possible too you could have ovulated a day earlier or later (women don't always ovulate exactly on day 14 for example, you could have ovulated on day 15 or day 13) and that might skew your numbers a bit since mid-way into the luteal phase your progesterone is supposed to peak. Are you charting? Do you know how long your luteal phase usually is? Progesterone is supposed to be checked halfway through the LP so 7 DPO if your LP is normally 14 days but 6 DPO if you have a 12 day LP or 8 DPO if your LP is 16 days. I wouldn't worry about your numbers though especially since they are not close to being borderline.
