Ok, I have not posted in a while, but have been trying to catch up on the reading today. My sister had her retrival a week ago today. She had 16 eggs. 12 of them fertilized. So they transfered 2 back last Sunday. She has 10 frozen now, which is great. St the transfer the doctor was calling people into the room to look at her uterus. Apparently he was saying it is the best he had seen. Her lining was 18. She also had great heathly eggs!

Anyway she is on complete bed rest, actually today will be her first day out of bed to shower!

Anyway - question for those successful IVF gals - did you feel systems and when?

Janice has her beta on 2/23. Only 8 days to go!!

WOW 16 total!! That is great. Can you tell us what she was on and how many IU's for hoe long!! That is great!!!! It looks like she has a REALLY good chance this cycle. Please wish her luck for us!!! Not at IVF just yet so can't tell you id sx's are different. Sending lot's of sticky baby dust to your sister!!!

i didnt have a positive beta, but everything sounds like it went great.. the time will prob go by slow, but when the beta day is here, wow!!!! having 10 make it to freezing is great.. does her office wait to they are all blasts before he freezes?? anyway, your sister is in my thoughts and prayers, but this is what ive heard from some who did get positive betsa, a pulling like twinge and cramp on the sides of the abdomen.. and some did get period cramps.. buit i def heard about pulling like cramps.. and i just wanted to say,try not to pay to much attention to the symptoms because remember all teh symtpoms could be related to what was going on in there with the medications, and the progesterone can cause a lot of pregnancy symptoms.. so have her just relazx and try not to ananlyze everything ( i know--- SO HARD) so we all hope to be hearing a BFP from you soonn

WOW, sounds like she has an excellent chance this time!! I'm so excited for you guys. I can't answer any of your questions, though - sorry about that. I just wanted to chime in and offer some encouragement. I will definitely keep your family in my prayers.

Ok - No spotting yet. But do you think that is because of the progestrone patchs / shots she is getting.

Only 3 days to go. I am dying and it is not even me!

Anyone out there who did IVF - did you have your period on your own or only after you stopped the patchs / injections?

I've talked to you before about acupuncture and I've been researching IF doctor's in Orange County. By any chance is your sister seeing Dr. Werlin? I've heard he is great. I'm going to try naturally for a couple more months and then look into IVF.

I just wanted to say that your sister and I have our betas the same day, if I don't see AF before then. She is still holding off and I am kind of surprised. I am not on any prog. supplements or anything and I am at 12dpiui, 14 days past temp shift. I have never made it past 12 days temp shift. I always start on the 13th day, which becomes cd1. I am praying hard. I will pray for your sister too!! Wish her luck for me.

She is seeing Dr. Anderson at Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine. She really likes him, but I do have friends that used Dr. Werlin for IUI and loved him too. IVF was the only way for Janice to go, she has a collasped tube and one that is damaged. She also had a lot of endo.

Any update on your sister, Leah?? I have been wondering if AF has shown up yet and if she is getting excited feeling like this could be her month for a BFP??:) Let me know how she is doing.

Hi there,

She is doing fine. She has some brown discharge today - but that is later then normal. Her period should have shown yesterday. She is cramping alittle.

Tomorrow is beta!
