I have been taking LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) for 1 month now. (I am not on any other medications.) I am very pleased with the results. The most significant change for me is that the fibro fog has lifted. I feel I am once again able to think clearly and access words when I speak. I have more energy and more motivation. I am also basically pain free. Even though it is raining today, I am symptom free.
The only side effect I had was some difficulty sleeping for the first three weeks. This last week my sleep has been fine. Everything I read indicates that this side effect should subside in a week. (I guess I am just slow.)
I did have 3 days where I did not feel great. I was not as bad as I usually am but I did have some fog and some pain. On those days my temperature did not get up to 98.6. The rest of the time my temperature has been at 98.6 (my temp. is usually 97.2) and I have been feeling like a normal person.
I am really excited about this medications and would love to hear from anyone else who has tried it. My son and one of his little friends are both on it to help with their autistic symptoms, however, I do not know any other adults who take it.

That is just SUPER, BetsyAnn! I hope it continues to work well for you. Remember to stop by when you are cured ... don't forget about the rest of the folks on the board!
Best wishes.
