OK I went for a CT last night because my Uro's cover didn't believe I was acting like I was in pain.....anyway that's anther topic for another time.

Anyway this shows "2 large renal calculi in the uretal passages." CT shows 5 stones in total. X ray showed 2. Ultrasound showed 3. Hmmmm....

How do they get rid of uretal stones - I heard ESWL will not work for them.

My uro is out all week on vacation and as the first line eludes to, I do not like the guy covering for him so I would rather suffer the pain for additional week meanwhile the curiosity is piqued and I am trying to brace for what he may tell me Next Steps are. I believve it is the uretal stones causing the problem as the ones on the X rays have been there for a while but could also be the third one on the Ultrasound (was new as of 2 weeks ago when problems started.)
