Had the flu real bad for about a week, lost around 10 pounds, and now I have gained probably a couple pounds back and am about 6 or 7 pounds below my normal weight, appetite still isn't what it was. I've been better for 1 full day now. I usually work out mon-fri and rest sat sun. Should I start working out now? or should I wait till next week??? or should i get my body weight to where it was before i start working out again?

any thoughts would be great

You really have to listen to your body on that one. I generally don't need much convalescence, and start working out again as soon as I feel up to it (even if it's lighter than I would normally work when fully well). Cardio is usually the last thing I get back into full-force, but I have crappy lungs. ;) Don't go if you feel you have to fight the whole way through the workout, but as soon as you don't dread the thought of moving, get back to it. Your weight will come back as you get back into the swing...

thanks for your reply, today is the first day that I think I woke up really hungry, and was able to eat a full meal. Also have lots of energy and actually feel like working out, for the first time since I got the flu. So I think I'm gonna go for it today.
