:dizzy: Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I am sorry I haven't posted much lately. The last time I was on this board, dh and I decided to take a break from the infertility drugs. (that was around Christmas) I have only been taking the progesterone supplements just in case I would get preggers on my own. (wouldn't that be terrific?) Anyways, I have been trying to catch up on you all. I hope you are all getting your bfp's. (Congrats to your bfp's if I have missed you!) To the rest of you, even if I am not posting much, I am still thinking about you! Right now, I am waiting for Aunt Flow to come, but hopefully she won't show. I am on cd31, and am afraid to test. Last month I was 1 wk late, and the month before I was 2 wks late. I am so irregular. I want to test, but a part of me is afraid to be let down, esp since I am not on infertility drugs. (I know my chances aren't good) Anyways, I wanted to say hi!

Hi Icare. I wasn't around the boards the last time you were posting a lot, but I wanted to welcome you back. I am currently in my 2ww from my first IUI. I am so hopeful but at the same time, I am so afraid to be hopeful.

I hope you don't get AF this month and that you got pg. on your own! That would be wonderful, just to be surprised. Good luck!!

Thanks for the welcome back, Anna! I hope that you get pregant with this first round with your IUI! That would be so wonderful! I will keep you in my prayers and hopes like I do with the other ladies on this board, as well. I am sure you can see that this board is full of wonderful women, and a few men, who are all after the same thing! It is terrific support which we all need with infertility! Good luck, sweetie!

Hi Julie,

It's good to hear from you again. I really hope being late this time is a good sign :) I know it's hard to hope sometimes but I am hoping for you! Sometimes taking a break is just what you need. I took one over the holidays and even though I didn't get a miracle BFP I was much rejuvenated to start treatments again last month. I just started IUI cycle #4 and will probably being getting my IUI late this week. Good luck this month. I am keeping everything crossed for you to get that BFP!

You ladies are all so encouraging! Thanks so much for being here. It's good to take a break, but it's also tough, you know? I can't seem to get the dh on the same page right now. He wants nothing to do with meds right now,(except my progesterone) he just knows I will get pregnant. I am not saying it won't happen, but we've been through so much, and I want to be pregnant-yesterday! Sorry, just need to vent today. No AF still, but I tested today and BFN! I figure it's probably accurate this late in my cycle, but I guess anything is possible. Anyways, thanks for the welcome back! It's so nice to have women who understand! I hope you all get your BFP's soon! Take care!

I'm sorry about your BFN, but it's not over until AF shows. I hope this is your month.

I remember talking to you a few times and I know we share the same problem of endo. I was just wondering if you ever took Lupron and if you did how was it? I'm torn. I really want to get pg and my RE thinks this will help clear up the rest of the endo she did not get, but I don't want to harm my body. I just had a lap and I am thinking we will try for a couple of months on our own.

It's good to hear from you. I've been looking for you.:)

Hi Icare,

I really hope the BFN today was just a false one and your AF stays away for at least 9 months. Maybe two more after that to give you a little more of a break from the old hag!! LOL!!! I am sorry DH is not on the same page as you. That can be very difficult especially if you both don't agree that their may be an issue. My Dh said it to me for the LONGEST time especially b/c we had gotten pregnant and miscarried he really thought we could but I kept doing what I was doing saw RE and kept gertting more information and as time went on he became more on board. I know how you feel to want to have a child yesterday. I so much want that it hurts! But I will tell you two things I tell myself. One-no-one ever told me that we can not have children and 2- no matter what happens I will be a mother. The days that I want it to happen right now are always the toughest but some how went get past them and start hoping and trying again. Lot's of luck to you this cycle. I am still hopeful you will have gret news to share w/ us!!!!

Thanks so much ladies for your words of encouragment! It sucks to have all these ups and downs so much, you know? My dh was totally on board at first, but as time has went on, he doesn't agree with the RE like I do. I think in his mind he knows I can get pregnant, because both times I mc I got pregnant without help. But, RE said one of my many problems is hormones. (progesterone and he also thinks I have PCOS) So, even if I get pregnant again, RE is wanting me to have these meds on board to make sure everything is right. Dh doesn't really understand that. :dizzy: I am trying to give him time, but I am tired of time! I am ready to move on to the Femara, which is our next step. We have been married almost 11 yrs! It's been 1 1/2 yrs since my lap, which scares me, because I don't want endo to return! Jsquared, my RE hasn't said anything about Lupron yet. I guess since he did a pretty good job on my lap. (even though it's been awhile) I guess if I don't get pregnant that could be a possibility. Or another lap? I wonder how long they wait to do another one? Well, I am rambling now! I am still counting on you for your BFP's! I wish all you ladies could get your miracles! We all deserve it!

icare2, I am also from indiana and wondered who your RE was, if you don't mind telling? I was referred to Jarrett from my perinotologist after my first miscarriage. If he thinks you have PCOS has he mentioned glucophage, along with a low Amylose Free Diet? I was diagnosed back in November with PCOS and since going on the glucophage and the diet became pregnant on my own, only to miscarry due to an eptopic pregnancy, but my cycles have return to normal after being on the glucophage.

Hi Tresh! I am sorry for what you have been through! PCOS is difficult to get under control. Luckily, I don't have it that bad, only a mild form. My problems are mostly low progesterone, cysts, and endo. My RE did a uterine ressection on me to cut out my septate that I had. (a big wall that divided my uterus) It's been a year and a half since the surgery, and I had a mc 6 mos after the surgery. (my first mc was due to the septate) Now, I am having difficulty getting pregnant. :dizzy: Anyways, my RE is Dr. Gentry in Evansville. He is wonderful. He's kind, and very intelligent. He also has offices in Jasper, and Indianapolis. Best of luck!

Hi Julie. You mentioned something in your post that I have been wondering about. You said that your problems are mostly with prog., cysts, and endo. Well, I am pretty sure I don't have endo but I wonder about the prog. level and cysts. I am 13dpiui today and still haven't seen AF but I am wondering if I had a cyst, could it delay AF? My temps are above my coverline but not as high as they have been in past months, leading me to believe that my prog. level may not be that good. It also makes me very hesistant to believe that there is chance for me to be pg., even though it seems like I would have seen AF by now, as I never go more than 12 days past temp shift and today is 15 days past temp shift.

Have your problems w/ cysts caused you to not have a period? Has AF shown up for you yet? I know you said in an earlier post that you tested and got a negative but I was wondering what cd you are on and if AF had shown. I do not want to test b/c I don't want to see a negative. But, RE said that if AF hadn't shown by tomorrow to call and come in for a beta. Before I get my hopes up that beta could be pos., I just wanted to get some answers about cysts. Also, I have been uncomfortable on my left side. Just wondering if that could mean a cyst.

Thanks for any info you can offer.:)

Thank you kathy. I do have beta tomorrow if AF doesn't show before then. I really don't feel her coming on. Every once in a while I will feel some cramps but they go away. Fingers crossed!! But, like I said in the post, I am worried about a possible cyst. I have a call into my nurse at RE's office.

Anna Leigh-
Sorry I am late! I hope your beta today shows a big positive for you! But, to answer your questions-yes, my cysts have caused me to have trouble with AF. I also have a mild form of PCOS. So, when I am not on the pill, my AF is not regular. I finally started yesterday-7 days late! 2 months ago, I was 2 wks late, and last month I was a week late. I guess my cycles are just longer, whether it's from the cysts or the PCOS?? It's so hard to figure out our bodies! It totally stresses me out most of the time!:dizzy: I hope so badly that you are pregnant! That would explain all the stuff happening! Good luck, sweetie, and hang in there!
