Doctor says it is a virus. High blood count for 6 months. CT scans came back negative for everything. Extreme fatigue, weight gain and bloated. What is wrong with me?

This is going to sound off but have your thyroid checked.

My white cells were high for almost a year they kept getting higher and higher almost to 20,000. I gained weight and was very bloated and had a hard time breathing. Had my thyroid checked by a endocronoligist and my TSH was 14 and should be 1-3. Started to give me synthroid for hypothyroid and within 3 months my wbc was almost normal, and my bloating was gone. Now i just need to lose weight. Oh, and all I wanted to do was sleep I could sleep 20 hours and still be tired.

Also get checked for MONO.
