A couple of days a go I had a dull ache in one of my testicles. It hurt without touching and lasted for about an hour. I checked it out last night later. There is no lump on the ball. I would describe it as “a piece of gristle on one of the veins within my sack” it hurts a lot when I "corner it" to feel it.

I had the feeling a few months ago and thought nothing of it until it started hurting the other day.

Can anyone give me any advice on this sensitive subject.

GET YOURSELF CHECKED!!!! I went about six months withthe same symptoms and I regreted it. Go see your Urologist as soon as possible, please.
I ended up having to have three rounds of chemotherapy and several surgeries, and let me tell you, none were fun. I'm not saying you for sure have cancer, but don't do what I did, which was live in denial. If you catch this early enough you might not have to go through as much. So again, please get checked soon...k?

yes i shall then, do you mind if i ask- are the symptoms exactly the same? did you have a growth on your teste or on the veins as i describe?

I honestly don't remember exactly where the tumor was, I only remember my teste being very painful, and hard as you discribed. The other less problematic possibilty is that you may have what is refered to as a "torsion." That is where your vein gets bound up somehow in the scrotum sack,a nd causes similar symptoms, from what I understand.

I went to see the doc last night.
It was a sperm cyst on the testicular vein- nothing to worry about.

Also, I had all these veins in my sack like worms- i wasnt sure if everyone had them or not...!

As it was not actually on the ball he said this is nothing to worry about, its only when there are lumps on the ball that it could be something more serious.
