Good morning!!

I just has CTS done on my right hand and a ganglion removed Feb. 7. I have been in pain off and on last 2 weeks. The symptoms seem the same as they were pre-operatively and I see surgeon today do to severe pain and numbness. HAs anyone else had this happen 2 weeks or more post-operatively? I understand my arm needs time to heal and physio done. I cannot do anything with my arm including driving. Any advice is really appreciated.

jeryl. Seeing your surgeon would be what I would do too, so I'm not going to be of real help alleviating your pain right now.
I had pain too for awhile after my ct release.....it was a week or so post op....I remember lying curled up on the kitchen floor at 3 am. because pain was so bad and prescrip pain med wouldn't make it better. I finally took 4 ibuprofen in addition to the pain med and that is what did it.

Have you been elevating your arm? Were you told to put ice on it yet...or heat? Do either make it feel better? I basically took ibuprofen every 6 hours for a couple of weeks. that was to keep the pain at bay. If I tried skipping a dose, it took twice as long to get some balance/pain tolerance again.
