Hi everyone! I was just wondering if it is typical to have super dark discharge for the 4 days leading up to AF? I know I didn't have it before BC, but it seems to be standard for all my cycles now.

I never had it before BC either but when I got off of it I got it a few days before AF. My AF was super light too. I mentioned to RE and he doesn't think it's a problem but I think it's weird too because I never had it before. I've been going to acupunture for 3 months now and it has gotten better. I get it about 1-2 days max now and then have about 2 full days of regular flow which I didn't have before. Not sure if it makes a difference in the long run but I feel better that acu. has made an improvement.

Did you mention it to your RE? I'm curious if your's thinks it's an issue either.

I mentioned it to the NP at our RE'S office and she said it sounds like "old blood", and it is normal. I'm still wondering why it started after BC, though.
